BULLSEYE FLIGHT TEAM
The Bullseye Flight Team is a group of professional pilots and ground controllers who honor our country and citizens with precisely timed and expertly flown multi-aircraft flyovers. Our speciality is formation flights over sports venues timed to the National Anthem–we arrive directly overhead at the end of the song for an uplifting and emotional event for your guests. The team consists of 14 members whose single purpose is to safely maneuver our aircraft “on time and on target” at your site. Bullseye Team members have performed hundreds of missions, meaning you can count on our experience and expertise.
The Bullseye Flight Team is the only civilian formation group in the United States performing night overflights with pyrotechnics. Imagine 100 foot long streamers of gold sparks trailing from each wingtip of the aircraft…they add a dazzling element of visual surprise to your nighttime events. We love doing these missions, and yes, we have been reported as a UFO multiple times.
MISSING MAN FORMATION
Our team specializes in moving tributes to those who have gone before. One of the most striking is the “Missing Man” formation, where the group approaches the venue in tight “fingertip” formation. Nearing the ground site, a team member gracefully pulls up and away from the group on cue, symbolizing both loss as well as hope. Trailing smoke, the maneuver is a stunning display–a poignant tribute to a departed loved one. A tradition begun by the US Army Air Corps in the early 1930’s, the Missing Man formation is now a standard, used by all branches of the military and civilian formation teams alike.
Precision formation flights over your crowd can provide just the “boost” you need to amplify the emotion and significance of the moment. Our aircraft fly in various formations, most often a grouping of six aircraft known to us as a “6 ship.” You’ll find that our aircraft are perfectly aligned in a picture of symmetrical beauty. Our pilots are flying with 3 feet clearance between wingtips—and they work continuously to maintain a perfect formation for your guests.
