Tal “Slot” Holloway
Team Leader
Tal, the Team Leader. graduated from The USC (University of South Carolina). His late father was US Army Ret., Vietnam helicopter pilot. Tal is a USMC Veteran, former KC-130 instructor pilot. He retired after 33 years at American Airlines; B727, MD80, B737 and A319/320/321 with over 25,000 hours flight time. Builder/Owner of an RV-10 and currently flying an RV-4. He and his wife Shari live in Pittsboro, NC and are the proud parents of Seth, USNA and current LtJg in Navy flight training and Reid, NCAA ranked pole vaulter at High Point University.
GROUND COORDINATORS
Stephen is a native of Sanford, NC and private pilot since 2019. He is a 2004 graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Textile Technology. He developed a love of aviation early on with models and books which lead to his position as Lead Ground Coordinator. He loves coordinating the flyover for all NC State football games and then cheering for the Pack. He still lives in Sanford, NC with his wife Cara and two young daughters Chloe and Emma. Along with spending time with his family and flying, he also enjoys pulling for the NC State Wolfpack, NASCAR, various church activities, and being a dance dad.

Wanda “Sterling” Jackson
Ground Coordinator
Wanda is an instrument rated pilot who currently flies a Cessna 182 and an RV-8A. She is a ground coordinator and the team’s accounting manager.

Scott “Chief” Tadlock
Ground Coordinator
Scott serves as one of the ground coordinators with the Bullseye Flight Team. He is a retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant with 25 years of military experience as an aircraft maintenance technician, instructor, and maintenance manager. He received his Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle and he lives in Pikeville, NC with his wife Toni.

Paul “Auzzy” Frazon
Flight Lead/Ground Coordinator
Paul started flying gliders while a student in Australia. After a winch launch, he would use his glider to chase the kangaroos on a nearby ridge that often-produced lift. He has since gained a power license as well as Instrument and Commercial ratings. He now has over 2000 hours of flight experience, including several West Coast trips, and trips around Australia.
Paul is the Cirrus Logic Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University and Director of Graduate Programs. He also served for 13 years with the Australian Army Reserve as an Infantry soldier and officer. He has been flying RVs since 2001 and currently flies a Vans RV-8.

Tom “Jethro” Stevens
Ground Coordinator
Tom is a former US Navy pilot with a wide variety of flight experience. After graduating from NC State University with a Civil Engineering degree, he joined the Navy and attended Navy flight school in Pensacola, Florida. Tom spent 20 years in the Navy and was qualified in five different Navy aircraft accumulating over 3900 flight hours. Tom is currently a First Officer with Southwest Airlines flying the Boeing 737, and is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of North Carolina. Tom and his wife, Ann, have been married 25 years and have four children, Brock, Hannah, Sarah Beth, and Austin. They live in Cary, NC.

Bob”Spock” Ingle
Flight Lead
Bob has an extensive flight background. After graduating from NC State he joined the Air Force and retired in 2009 as a Lieutenant Colonel after 22 years of service. He flew over 125 Combat Missions in both the A-10 Warthog during Operation Desert Storm and the F-15E during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Among his many medals, he holds the Defense and the Joint Meritorious Service Medal, four Meritorious Service Medals, nine Air Medals, five Aerial Achievement Medals, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Kuwait Liberation Medal. Bob is currently an F-15 academics and simulator instructor at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. He flies a Vans RV-8A which he and his family built in their garage. He and his wife Missy have lived in Goldsboro, N.C. for over 20 years with their two daughters, Abigail and Mei Wen.

Andy “Nasty” Stanaski
Flight Lead
Andy is a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate and served as a fighter pilot flying the F-15. Andy was part of the initial test group converting the F-15 from strictly an air superiority mission and adding a ground attack role. The F-15 proved to be very capable for ground attack, and later the Air Force developed the “E” model Strike Eagle as a dedicated bomber. After his Air Force career, Andy attended N.C. State University and earned a PHD in engineering. Today he lives in Cary N.C. with his wife Macrela and works as an engineer. He flies a Vans RV-8.

Vince “Sonic” Tryer
Flight Lead
Vince is a Civil Engineering Graduate from NC State and is a licensed General Contractor in multiple states. He has been flying since the late 80’s and logged over 3000 flight hours. Vince loves flying National Anthems as he believes it is a way to salute his late father, a retired Navy Veteran, his son a Captain in the U.S. Army and his son-in-law a Colonel (Dual winged Aviator) in the U.S. Air Force. His daughter recently graduated from NC State where he had the unique experience of flying every National Anthem Flyover from her first Freshman year game until her last game as a senior. Vince lives in Wilmington, NC with his wife of 37 years.

Jamison “Flash” Baysden
Flight Lead
Jamison is a retired USAF F-15E Weapons Systems Officer, Instructor, and Evaluator. He is a graduate of the USAF Fighter Weapons School and served in multiple combat operations throughout his career and has a BS in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle.
Flash flies the RV-8A (N900PP) and currently resides in Eastern NC with his wife and two daughters. He currently holds a Multi-Engine Commercial Instrument rating with over 2500 hours flight experience.

Sam “Flipper” Huffstetler
Flight Lead
Sam grew up as the proverbial airport kid, washing airplanes for flight time. After graduating from North Carolina State University in 1981 he entered the Air Force, ultimately flying as an instructor pilot in both the F-15C and the AT-38B. Stationed in Japan, Germany and the US, Sam flew numerous combat missions over Iraq and Bosnia. After retiring from the USAF, he flew the A320/321 for JetBlue Airways as a Captain and Line Evaluator. He remains an active flight instructor and has logged over 19,000 flight hours. He lives in Yorktown, Virginia with his patient wife Susan.
WINGMEN
Mike is an Air Force Academy graduate and retired USAF F-15E Weapons Systems Officer, Instructor, and Evaluator, having also flown the F-4E and F-111. He had nine combat deployments over a 21 year USAF career and retired from the USAF in 2009. After the USAF, he flew as a government contract pilot in Iraq, Afghanistan and Jordan. An active flight instructor since 2002, he is also a captain at a major airline, based in Boston. Beav flies an RV-8, has an Airline Transport Pilot rating, has six type ratings, and 9000 flying hours.

Mike “Beav” Laramee

Hal is a retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel with military time in the F-86F, F-84F fighters, and the B-47E bomber. He currently flies an ASW-20 sailplane and a Yak-52. On the weekend he also tows gliders in a Callair crop duster for the North Carolina Soaring Association. During his fifty-year flying career, he has earned the following flying certificates: Commercial, Single-engine, Multi-engine, glider, helicopter, instrument and flight instructor. Hal served as majority owner and President of Zema Corporation, a manufacturer of veterinary products until his retirement in 2000. Hal and his wife Mercedes Auger spend most of their winter weekends in the northern US at DN iceboat regattas (he competes and she officiates). They are residents of Cary, NC.

Tom “Taz” Clark
Wingman
Tom, one of the newest members of the Bullseye Flight Team, has been flying since the age of 16 and has amassed over 15,000 flight hours. Currently serving as an international captain for a major logistics company , he has been flying his F-1 Rocket for the past five years. With 25 years experience as a flight instructor, Tom takes the greatest pride in teaching his three sons how to fly, two of whom are currently pursuing airline careers, continuing the family tradition.

John “Critter’ Ritter
Wingman
John is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy and former B-52 aircraft commander
with significant combat experience from the first Gulf War. After retiring from the USAF, he moved to the Hampton Roads region of Virginia and now works as an engineer and technical expert for the USAF Air Combat Command staff. John flies a Vans RV-8 and enjoys both aerobatics and formation flight.

David “Ferdinand” Schlabach
Wingman/Ground Coordinator
David is a Principle Full Stack Engineer and flies as a hobby. He inherited the love for flying from his father Ross, a US Air Force F-106 fighter pilot. As a young boy his dad took him flying in the local trainer, even when sitting on phone books, he still couldn’t see over the dash. The father-son pair later enjoyed building and flying RC planes and helicopters where David was the youngest nationally ranked Fun-Fly competitor. David has over 600 flight hours in various aircraft ranging from J-3 Cubs to a B-25. He currently holds a Commercial rating and enjoys flying his Vans RV-8A. David lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife, Laura and their two sons, Henry and Porter.

Cecil “Lucky” Boyd
Wingman
Cecil Boyd is a retired business executive with over 30 years in the field of telecommunications. He is currently retired and works as a flight instructor specializing in tailwheel training. Cecil is a Viet Nam veteran and a recipient of the Bronze Star, having served in the US Army prior to his business career.
Cecil is a commercial pilot with over 46 years and 3200 hours of flight time including over 500 hours of aerobatic and over 300 hours of formation time. He has owned and flown over 15 different aircraft including several high-performance aerobatic machines. One of his favorites is the Russian Yak-52 that he currently owns and flies as a wingman.
